I found this out by accident. Ants LOVE the liquid from canned Libby’s Vienna Sausages. Left a used can on my kitchen counter over night and an invasion was in full swing in the morning.
That in mind, I used a regular liquid borate ant trap on a piece of wax paper in the middle of a small pool of sausage juice and the stampede began. The ants drained the trap and half of another over about three days before the trail trickled down to zero.
Far better results than I’ve had with liquid borate traps alone.
